Our client operates worldwide with leading brands and technologies.The International Safety, Health, Environment, Quality team within one of the business units follows in its approach a key strategic pillar of the company combining safety, health and environmental topics such as reduction of work place related accidents, occupational health tasks, reporting and controlling of sustainability key performance indicators and worldwide ISO-Certification responsibility with Quality topics focusing on definition and implementation of worldwide harmonized quality standards.

Objectives of the job    
  • Further improvement of existing standards and creating new standards and procedures with new approaches within the existing worldwide standards for Safety, Health, Environment, Quality in one of the business sectors assuring the successful operational implementation globally as well as reaching the ambitious goals of the company in that field overall.
    
Main tasks    
  • Development of new methods of analysis and their worldwide implementation
  • Continuous improvement of global safety figures by 20% within the next 5 years
  • Coordination and improvement of the worldwide reporting on quality KPI´s
    
Position within the company hierarchy    
  • The owner of the position reports to the Senior Corporate Vice President R&D/SC of the respective business unit
    
Team work with    
  • At HQ with his team, globally together with all Safety, Health, Environment, Quality Managers and Plant Managers of the production sites worldwide as well as with all other related business partners in business sector.
    
Travelling    
  • Frequently and worldwide

Requirements Profile

Education    
  • University degree, preferably in natural science or engineering resp. safety engineering with PhD
    
Professional experiences        
  • At least 8-12 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical, FMCG, chemical or brand products area
  • Profound knowledge in Safety, Health, Environent, Quality management, being able to identify manipulations at once with proven track record
  • Operational experience in a production site, i.e. as Production or Plant Manager
  • Professional experience as Auditor: knowledge of the newest auditing-methods, newest code digits, new methods, trainings and concept definition (i.e. industrial safety)
  • Sound computer literacy in Office and Lotus Notes
    
Experience in leadership    
  • Required

  • Fluent in written and spoken English, third language besides mother tongue appreciated (e.g. Spanish)
