Quality Manager (m/f)


Company 

Our client operates worldwide with leading brands and technologies.

The International SHEQ team within the business Unit Detergents
follows the strategic approach to combine safety, health and environmental topics
such as reduction of work place related accidents,
occupational health tasks, reporting and controlling of sustainability
key performance indicators and worldwide ISO certification responsibility
with quality topics focusing on definition and  implementation of worldwide
harmonized quality standards and driving continuous improvement projects.

Job description

Reason for the vacancy 
  • Strengthening of the existing team

Objectives of the job 
  • Responsibility for Quality with special focus on hygiene on global / international level

Main tasks
  • Continuous improvement of existing worldwide standards for Quality Control
    in one of the business sectors
  • Development of new test methods and analyzing methodologies and their
    worldwide implementation
  • Coordination and continuous improvement of the worldwide reporting on
    Quality key performance indicators
  • Close communication with the SHEQ Managers of the worldwide production sites
  • Planning, coordination and performance of quality and hygiene audits at the
    production sites worldwide
  • Support of internal and external certification audits
    (ISO 9001, 14001,  OHSAS 18001) at the headquarter
  • Training team mates and personnel in the quality disciplines

Hierarchy
  • The owner of the position reports to  the Director International SHEQ

Team work with
  • Closely working together with the SHEQ Managers of the company’s
    worldwide production sites

Travelling 
  • Frequently and worldwide

Requirements profile

Education
  • University degree in quality engineering or process engineering.

Professional experiences   
  • Five to eight years in manufacturing production environment 
    with quality management experience in the FMCG environment -
    preferably in the cosmetics or food industry

Special skills
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 50001,
    GMP, REACH
  • Six Sigma knowledge and certification
  • Knowledge and coaching capability for statistical tools
    (SPC and Design of Experiment) 
  • Proven skills in project management
  • Professional experience as Auditor of advantage
  • Professional experience with continuous improvement tools
    (LEAN, 20 Keys, technical benchmarking)
  • Computer skills in Office and Lotus Notes

Experience in leadership 
  • Experience in leading teams technically 
    (in dotted line)

Language
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and  English,
    third language besides mother tongue appreciated (e.g. Spanish)
