Sales Manager (m/w/d) Sales Processing - Precise Fermentation

Our client is a German listed manufacturer of lines and machines for the production, filling and packaging of beverages and liquid food products in PET and glass bottles and beverage cans. More than 16,000 employees work worldwide in the areas of process technology, filling and packaging technology as well as intralogistics and always keep an eye on climate change.


The main objective and task for this position is to develop a portfolio of customers in Germany and worldwide. In detail:

  • Create and implement a business development strategy for advanced alternative protein solutions
  • Support for order processing and aftersales in existing process technology and plant construction projects
  • Preparation and clarification of offers for projects in the field of process technology with procurement of all necessary data
  • Implementation of strategic and cross-sectional specifications within the sales area
  • Results- oriented negotiation management including securing all contractual bases
  • Systematic monitoring of the evolving alternative protein landscape including provision of market information
  • Derivation of measures from the market and customer analyses for the further development of the market and customers as well as support in product development / R&D
  • Representing Krones at alternative protein industry conferences and webinars
  • Customer support (internal/external) as well as presentations at the customer's site in cooperation with local offices or representatives
  • Interface function to sub-suppliers and to order processing for process technology; reporting to German headquarters

Besondere Anforderungen

Educational achievements: Successfully completed technical and/or economic studies
Professional experience: At least 2 years of professional experiences
Special Experience / Knowledge:

  • Enthusiasm for the development of better alternatives to legacy animal-based product
  • Basic technological understanding of alternative protein food engineering process combined with F&B industry expertise with focus on production ramp-up an PP&E investments
Languages: Fluent English skills

The gross annual salary consists of a fixed and a variable component. The final amount of the annual salary depends on the experience and background of the candidate.

The location of the company is in the southern part of Germany. Mobile working possible.
