Electromobility Charging Infrastructure Specialist (m/w/d)

As key player in the Electromobility Sales Organization, you are responsible to drive all actions to electrify customer’s sites from early phases until the infrastructure is in operation, together with relevant partners (charging partners etc.) – you are the expert in Electromobility charging.

Stellenbeschreibung

As Electromobility Charging Infrastructure Specialist within decarbonization projects you will have the following responsibility:

Diagnostic Phase: With the project driven by the ETS (Energy Transition Specialist), establish a preliminary diagnostic with time plan and budget for each customer site which might receive electric vehicles, by involving the relevant partners (Distribution System Operators, Charging Infrastructure Partners).

Quotation Phase: Together with selected partners, finalize the detailed specifications of required infrastructure (including connection to the grid) for each customer site. Review of the partner’s quotes (including local and national incentives), proceed to potential adjustments (planning etc.) and submit to the ETS managing this project.

Implementation Phase: When the customer has placed the order, work tightly with Electromobility Implementation Project Leader to establish the project time-plan for all required partners (electrical network etc.). Secure that realization phase is done according to schedule and expected quality with regular project reviews. Keep Electromobility Implementation Project Leader up-to-date and escalate in case of deviation. Validate the end of implementation by hand-check with customer and partners.

Operational Phase: When electrical infrastructure is in place for daily operations, follow-up on performance and availability. In case of breakdown, escalate to partners.

Outside of decarbonization projects, you will have responsibility to:

  • Manage relationship with charging partners for continuous improvement (technical knowledge, quality of work done, follow-up on potential claims & aftersales issues etc.)
  • Participate actively within the Electromobility Charging Specialist network of each market to share on best practices, partners performances, potential new developments etc.
  • Animate the community of Electromobility Charging Specialist within the dealer network (practices, information, partners performance etc.)
  • Give feedback to ETS (Energy Transition Specialist) concerning the key learnings on how to electrify customer sites for future projects
  • Stay updated on latest development regarding local and national incentives
  • Capitalize the return of experience to contribute to knowledge development and continuous improvement of the customer journey
  • Project deadline according to customer’s plan
  • Project implementation quality level
  • Customer satisfaction after hand-over: Performance of charging infrastructure

Besondere Anforderungen

Educational achievements: Technical training job, Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering or degree in a similar field
Professional experience: 3+ years’ experience in the field of Renewable Energy, E-Mobility or comparable
Professional qualifications: Technical knowledge on electricity and understanding of electric products
Personal skills:

  • Quick fix, pragmatic and “on the ground” attitude
  • Rigorous, able to manage projects with many stakeholders and budgets
  • Good communication skills, enjoy dealing with many contacts (customers, partners, internally)
  • Negotiation skills

Offices are in Essen, Köln, Stuttgart and München. You can choose between office and/or remote work.
