An international Japanese company with its European headquarter in Frankfurt am Main, Germany and also es-tablishments in Europe, Africa and Middle East. The UK branch was founded in 2009. The company is a supplier of dialyzers and has applied its core technologies for membrane separation using hollow fibers and absorption in various areas of healthcare and industry.

Job Description

The position is located in Lancashire, one hour from Manchester, UK. Nevertheless it is possible for the candidate to work out of a home office.

The candidate will be asked to develop and lead the sales process, as the guidance of the Branch Manager in charge will not be available during the next months.

Responsibilities:
  • Identifying business opportunities and new projects
  • Develop the sales strategy
  • Composing the company target list
  • Carrying out acquisition activities
  • Managing customer relationship
  • Maintaining relationships to hospitals and Doctors
  • Preparing offers for customers
  • Exclusive product delivery to customers with a 3-5 year duration
  • Managing the UK office and lead the office employee

The candidate will be part of a three-headed team, consisting of the Branch Manager, an office employee and himself.
He will report to the General Manager Sales Europe in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

It is necessary that the candidate has a high travel readiness. The position requires travelling at least half of a month. It is possible to work from his home office.

Job Requirements

Preferably the candidate has an academic technical background

A strong, long-time sales knowledge in the field of medical techniques

Must be familiar
  • with the structure and organisation in UK hospitals
  • with UK system process GPO (Group purchasi Organisation)

English as a native language

Strong selling and negotiation attitude in combination with managing skills
